6. Content Moderation
Confessr may, but is not required to, review, restrict, remove, or disable access to User Content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or creates a risk to users or the Service. Confessr may use user reports, technical safeguards, automated systems, moderation tools, and other methods to detect and prevent spam, abuse, fraud, and harmful activity. However, Confessr does not guarantee that every inappropriate, harmful, fraudulent, or illegal piece of content will be detected or removed.

9. Spam and Abuse Prevention
To protect users and maintain the reliability of Confessr, we may implement technical and administrative safeguards, including rate limits, abuse detection, message restrictions, device or network-based protections, account restrictions, and other security measures. These measures may occasionally affect legitimate activity. Confessr may restrict, suspend, or terminate activity that appears to be abusive, automated, fraudulent, malicious, or otherwise harmful.
10. Premium Features and Peer-to-Peer Payments
Certain Confessr features or services may require payment. Confessr may use a peer-to-peer payment arrangement for certain purchases. Under this arrangement, users may communicate with an authorized member of the Confessr team through a designated communication channel, such as Messenger, to arrange payment. Supported payment methods may include GCash, PayPal, or other payment methods designated by Confessr.
Payment Process
The payment process may generally involve:
- The user contacts an authorized Confessr team member through the designated communication channel.
- The team member provides the applicable price and payment instructions.
- The user sends payment directly to the designated payment account.
- The user may provide transaction information or proof of payment.
- A Confessr team member manually verifies the payment.
- After successful verification, the purchased premium feature or service is manually delivered or activated.
Premium access or services are not automatically guaranteed immediately after payment. They will be provided after successful payment verification.
Payment Requirements
Users must:
- Send payments only to payment details provided by an authorized Confessr team member.
- Provide accurate transaction information when requested.
- Submit genuine payment confirmations or receipts.
- Not alter, manipulate, or falsify payment screenshots or transaction records.
- Not falsely claim that a payment was completed.
- Contact Confessr if they believe there is an error with their transaction.
Confessr may refuse or delay service delivery if a payment cannot be verified, appears fraudulent, is incomplete, or was sent to an unauthorized account.
Third-Party Payment Services
GCash, PayPal, Messenger, and other third-party services used in connection with payments are operated independently by their respective providers. Confessr does not control the operation, availability, security, policies, fees, or processing of these third-party services. Users may also be subject to the terms and policies of those services.
Users should verify that they are communicating with an authorized Confessr team member before sending any payment. Confessr will not be responsible for payments voluntarily sent to an unauthorized person, incorrect account, fraudulent account, or third party outside the official payment instructions provided by Confessr, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Payment Verification and Privacy
Payment-related information provided to Confessr may be used to:
- Verify transactions.
- Prevent payment fraud.
- Resolve payment disputes.
- Maintain transaction records.
- Deliver purchased services.
- Provide customer support relating to a transaction.
Payment-related information will be handled in accordance with the Confessr Privacy Policy.
Users should never send passwords, account credentials, PINs, one-time passwords (OTPs), authentication codes, or other confidential security credentials to Confessr team members.
Premium Service Delivery
After successful payment verification, the Confessr team will make reasonable efforts to deliver or activate the purchased service. Delivery time may vary depending on the service, payment verification, team availability, technical circumstances, or other factors. Confessr may change, suspend, or discontinue premium services, subject to applicable law and obligations relating to purchases that have already been completed.
11. Refunds and Payment Disputes
Any refund request should be directed to the official Confessr contact channel. Refund requests may be reviewed based on the circumstances of the transaction, the service purchased, whether the service has already been delivered, and applicable law. Confessr does not guarantee that every refund request will be approved.
Users must not intentionally initiate fraudulent payment disputes or falsely claim that a legitimate transaction did not occur. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Downloadable Cards and Templates
Confessr may provide downloadable templates, message cards, friendship-test cards, profile cards, and similar content. These features are generally intended for personal use unless otherwise stated. You are responsible for how you use content generated or downloaded through Confessr. You must not use Confessr-generated content to impersonate others, conduct fraud, violate another person’s rights, or engage in illegal activity.
13. Intellectual Property
The Confessr name, branding, logos, interface, original designs, graphics, software, and other proprietary materials provided by Confessr are owned by or licensed to Confessr unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or exploit Confessr’s proprietary materials without authorization, except where permitted by applicable law. User Content remains the responsibility of the user who submitted it.
14. Third-Party Services
Confessr may rely on third-party services for functions such as hosting, authentication, databases, storage, payments, security, notifications, communication, and other technical services. Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, fees, and conditions. Confessr is not responsible for the independent actions, availability, policies, or failures of third-party services.
15. Privacy
Your use of Confessr is also subject to the Confessr Privacy Policy, which explains how information may be collected, used, stored, processed, and disclosed. The Privacy Policy should be read together with these Terms.
16. Service Availability
Confessr attempts to maintain a reliable and functional Service, but we do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, free from bugs, or free from service interruptions. The Service may become temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, security incidents, third-party service failures, network problems, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

- The account is being used for abuse, spam, fraud, or illegal activity.
- The account creates a security or safety risk.
- The account threatens the rights or safety of other users.
- The user attempts to circumvent restrictions.
- Continued access could harm Confessr, its users, or its systems.
Where appropriate and legally required, users may be given an opportunity to appeal or resolve an issue.
18. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Confessr is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Confessr does not guarantee that the Service will meet every user’s expectations or that User Content will be accurate, appropriate, reliable, or trustworthy. Users are responsible for exercising appropriate judgment when interacting with anonymous messages and other User Content.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Confessr and its operators, developers, and contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your unlawful use of Confessr.
- Your User Content.
- Your infringement of another person’s rights.
- Your fraudulent or abusive activity.
21. Changes to These Terms
Confessr may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are made, the updated version will be posted on Confessr with a revised “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of Confessr after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
22. Governing Law
These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by applicable laws, including applicable laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without prejudice to mandatory consumer or other legal protections that may apply to you.
23. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
24. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Confessr Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented for specific features, constitute the agreement governing your use of Confessr, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
